This sculpture highlights my personal experience with plastic surgery and how it can carry a negative stigma in society as well as leave the patient with a sense of shame. In reality, cosmetic surgeries can be more about improving quality of life rather than physical looks.

Materials: 12 yards of jersey knit, PolyFil, and dyed with purple and brown dye. Sashiko thread for the “stitches”.
